Tushar Deshpande has been playing for Mumbai in domestic cricket since 2016. He has also represented Mumbai in Under-16 and Under-19 categories.

On 19 September 2018, he made his List A debut in the 2018–19 Vijay Hazare Trophy against Baroda, where he took 1 wicket.
