Rajneesh Gurbani was born on 28 January 1993 in Nagpur, Maharashtra, his father’s name is Naresh Gurbani who was a civil engineer.

Rajneesh did his early studies at St. Mary’s School, Mumbai and completed his civil engineering from Shri Ramdevbaba College, Nagpur.

Domestic Cricket

On 10 December 2015, he made his List-A debut in the 2015–16 Vijay Hazare Trophy against Odisha, where he took 0 for 17 in 3 overs. (2)

On 3 January 2016, he made his T20 debut in the 2015–16 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where he took 1 for 20 in 3 overs.

On 27 October 2016, he made his first-class debut for Vidarbha in the 2016–17 Ranji Trophy, taking 2 for 61 in 21 overs.

In the semi-finals of the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy, he took twelve wickets in the match for Vidarbha against Karnataka, taking 5 wickets in the first innings and 7 in the second innings. (3)

He was the highest wicket-taker for Vidarbha in the 2017-18 Ranji Trophy with 39 wickets in six matches.
