Harleen Deol was born on 21 June 1998 in Chandigarh, India. Her father, Baghel Singh Deol, is a businessman. Her mother’s name is Charanjit Kaur Deol, and she is a government employee. She has a brother named Manjot Singh Deol.
It was her grandmother Gurdev Kaur’s dream that she be a cricketer. She started playing cricket at an early age.
She completed her schooling at Yadvindra Public School, Mohali. After completing her schooling, she completed her graduation from MCM DAV College, Chandigarh. (1)
Career
She made her ODI debut for India against England on 22 February 2019 at Wankhede in Mumbai.
She made her T20I debut against England on 4 March 2019.
Harleel Deol went viral on social media after taking an amazing catch avoiding the boundary rope during the T20I series against England in July 2021, earning praise from Sachin Tendulkar and Prime Minister Narendra Modi for the catch.
